Consulting for professional sports teams

Hi there,

I am wondering if anyone has any insight on how to get a job working for a sports team as a consultant. I hear that they have tons of them on staff and I also have heard one off projects at certain schools with sports teams, but does anyone know how you can get a job working as a consultant for any professional sports team? I really want to go to school so I can become a consultant but it would be my dream to consult for a pro sports team - any insight is appreciated! Thanks

Well, a good place to start would be Sport MS and Sport MBA programs. You can find rankings online all over the place. Some of the more famous schools in this field are UNC, GW, Florida. But it depends a wee bit on what your specific goals are too.
