Her conditional clause is required.....So, Only If structure is the correct form....
So, from c,d
D is correct because it is stating determisnistic , if x happens then Y....But where as in C the probability indicator "may"
So , D is correct....OA pls??

D) is correct
But how can D) be correct, since it introduces new information? In the orginal sentence, the "provisions" are not mentioned. Therefore I thought that D) must be wrong.
Isn't there this rule that one must not add new information?
thx

Yeah.....But, you should give more importance to the sentence context first......We should not change the meaning of the sentence.......
Funda:-
---------------Dont change the meaning of the sentence--------
This can be
a) Tense change
b) context
c) Meaning
etc....
Does this make sense???

IMO D cos conditional structure is needed! But some words are missing, Is it going to be asked to find the correct words make up the sentence in SC? ![Wink ;)](./images/smilies/wink.png)

B) insofar as the provisions are verified ---- awkward
C) only if the provisions it contains may be verifiable---- wrong if construction
D) only if compliance to its provisions can be verified
E) exclusively if its contained provisions are verifiable---- wrong if construction
