There is a semicolon in the main stem that is not present in the answer choice A. So, it makes the stem confusing. Can be a typo also. I normally overlook choice A.

It's true, the semicolon happens to come at the end of the line, so perhaps it would be easy to overlook. Again, perhaps there were earlier and later printings of this volume, and you have an earlier printing before they corrected this error, I don't know.(A) pollinating banana, breadfruit, and mango trees;

All I can say is --- in the hard copy of OG 13 I have before my eyes, the prompt and choice (A) are identical, right down to the semicolon.
