1) Is it safe to assume that if more than 50% of the terms within a set are BELOW the mean, then the mean is GREATER than the median?

Because the jellybeans are randomly assigned to each of the 3 kinds of boxes, the probability that you have any particular one kind of box is 1/3. Ah! Thank you! This problem was driving me crazy.
