Gmatter2008 -- the schools are able to see all your scores...if you are happy with your scores its probably best to just focus on putting together great apps (unless you think you can achieve a significant increase).

Which schools do you wish to apply to? And how much time do you have to set aside to dedicate to GMAT preparation and then application writing? 1) Round 2 is in many cases advantageous over round 1 (the good news however, is that there is a negligible difference between round 1 & round 2) 2) Rec...

Also, what Med school were you studying at? If you do decide MBA is right for you, recommended GMAT guides are : Manhattan GMAT books OG (Official Guide to the GMAT -- 3 books, Official Guide for the whole test, OG for Verbal, OG for Quant) Kaplan 800 Princeton Review Cracking the GMAT (this is a go...

What is the reasoning for the lower GPA? Was it one or two poor semesters, or was that about where you stood the entire time at university? If so, you can use the optional essays to explain this (and I would recommend doing so). Either way though, I would lean towards not retaking the GMAT. A 710 sh...

David, I certainly wouldn't rule it out, but I do think it will be difficult. Also, you will want to consider explaining the past six months in the optional essay. You do have a good story to tell, but the adcom may be concerned that you are once again choosing something you aren't truly committed t...

Just one man's opinion here...but I think your time and energy is much better spent on putting together great essays and polishing the application. A 650 is certainly on the lower end for your target schools, but as you point out coming from a non-english speaking country makes the test more difficu...

Agreed, D.

We know from the image that total sales are 100,000. If 16,000 are fruits and veggies, 16,000/100,000 = 16%

if x = 2y and x + y + 40 + 28 + 8 = 100, substitute for x and solve for y:
2y + y + 40 + 28 + 8 = 100
3y + 40 + 28 + 8 = 100
3y + 76 = 100
3y = 24
y = 8
x = 16

A college is made up of two types of students: Those who transferred from another college, and those who came to the school directly from high school.

Hope this helps!

SC Help : Verb Tense Table that brought me from V41 to V47

Hey Everyone, I have been browsing the site for a while now while prepping for the GMAT (thanks for all your help!), but had not posted until now... Up until actual test day I was getting moderate scores on the verbal section, and then about a week before my actual test I picked up the Official Guid...
