VA means verbal. Kaplan scores tend to be lower for most people than the actual gmat. Heard lot of people saying Kaplan is harder than actual test.

Changing and varying is not correct cause they are used as verbs.
Hence changes and variation is needed for parallelism

if is only used when if..then situation otherwise always use whether..
and the last part "might not have" should be "had" as it happend before another past event.
