Let P(B) = P(G) = 1/2
so, 1 Boy and 2 girls can be
1. B,G,G = 1/2*1/2*1/2 = 1/8
2. G,B,G = 1/8
3. G,G,B = 1/8
P(B and 2 Gs) = 1/8 + 1/8 + 1/8 = 3/8

Difference between MGMAT 2006 and MGMAT 4th edition books
Hi,
Is there any substantial difference in MGMATs 2006 edition book and the latest 4th edition. If so, is it significant to warrant a purchase. I already have 2006 edition.

Example to prove insufficiency
This is what i thought of...proving insufficiency by counterexample... Combining st 1 and 2 Example 1 # apples = 5, cost of each apple = $3 so 5 x 3 = 15$ ..statement 2 oranges therefore = 5+5 = 10 cost of each orange = $3 - $0.10 = $2.90 so 10 x 2.90 = 29$ price difference = 29 - 15 = 14$ Example 2...

Gmat prep downloaded test
i have downloaded gmat prep tests from mba.com
i want to know if the two tests are independent. i.e if i take test1 say 3 times...i will see repeated qs on test1...but will i also see repeated questions on test2 ?
