A dart is thrown at a dart board whose dimensions are 5m*5m . If the probabilty of missin the dart board is 0.25, find the probabilty of hitting the board at a point that is at a max distance of 2m from the centre of the board.

Probability = ( Circle Area / Square Area ) x ( 1 - 0.25 )

= ( 4pi / 25 ) ( 3/4 )

= 3pi/25

Salute u !!!! u killed the beast in 5 sec. GMAT should do something for u..otherwise u ll destroy them by making a mockery of exam. U hv to get 1000 out of 800. 800/800 is nothing for u..... :P

Area of circle...................x

x = Area of circle * 0,75 / Area of square = 0,12Pi
