Questions 3-4 refer to the following:
Jay: We have too many people working on each of our computers in the office. The high frequency of breakdowns is due to too many people handling the same hardware.
Ada: We have just as many people working in our office, yet we hardly need any repairs to our systems. Our systems must be more robust than yours.
Jay apparently believes that
A. he has the best available hardware
B. the frequency of breakdowns in his office is above average
C. software specifications are not important in his office
D. no other office has a similar ratio of computers to users
E. he does not need more people working in his office
I stucked between the B and C options...

C seems irrelevant. We have no reference for Software Specifications.Even if you want to blame the software spec'n for Breakdowns, how can we conclude that it is not imp in his office.
I would have been more confused between
B & D
.Anyway, OA is B

@jainnikhil02
I try to give my opinions about the Q. I will go step by step.
For assumption questions, never bring outside info. Just try to stay within the limits of the question and aviod extreme wordings.
What is being asked is "what Jay assumes when he complains about the high frequency of breakdowns"
A. He does not assume this. Wording is extreme. "the best"
B. He thinks there is smt wrong with frequency of the breakdowns. Because he mentions that the frequency is high. So he assumes that frequency is not average or normal but above the average. He does not like the "high" frequency of breakdowns.
C.This wording is extreme too. There is not any comment about the specifications of software in the argument. Outside info.He does not say " specifications are not important but how people use the softwares"
D. He never complains about "why me, why I am having these breakdowns". He says "my rate is high!" and he questions the rate!
E: He says breakdown is due to too many people handling the same hardware. We can not conclude that he thinks he does not need more people in the office. It would be extreme to assume this. Also none of the words support it.
Hope this helps.

Definitely Nikhil ! That's why I concluded it to be B.
& even if he is talking about his office, he can 'apparently believe' that other offices have a better ratio.I meant I found C more incorrect than D.(if this sentence makes any sense at all at 1st place )

C software specifications are not important in his officejainnikhil02 wrote:@shanakran.. it is right.. but why not C...
Because option C is out of scope. They haven't talked about the software specifications..
