by sulabh » Tue Jun 10, 2008 10:44 am
The particular design of muscles and bones in the neck and limbs of the turtle allow that it can draw in its exposed parts such that an attacker can find nothing but hard shell to bite.
A. allow that it can draw in its exposed parts such that
B. allow it to draw in its exposed parts, and so
C. allows for it to draw in its exposed parts and that
D. allows that it can draw in its exposed parts, and so
E. allows it to draw in its exposed parts, so that

OA is C ????

it can not be C

C - not parallelilsm

C option has 'and that' at the end. there has to be another that clause to be parallel.

so the sentence should be like
'......that .......and that'

Just FYI:

So that is correct in GMAT
"So as to" looses to "so that" in GMAT
split forms of "so as to" and "so as not to" are always wrong

refer to Sumit's note for more details.
