hi phoenix,
your answer is the OA but am also confused about B.
Can you pls mention why you think B represents an incorrect idiom.
while choosing answers, i was confused betw B & D, and chose B > D.
both sounded like proper idioms to me.
As X is the capital of D, so Z is the capital of E. ( putting option B in this formula)
Have i put it in the correct way?
Cheers,
Pd

hi Bro,
My take on your question
B -- Chnages the meaning of the sentence. when u say "As" ur actually tryin to say that because the 1st condition is true.. hence the second condition should also be true. The example mentiond by u is incorrect
U can use it -- State D is in Country E. As X is the capital of State D, So X is in Country E.
whereas "Just as" is used to give an example. whihc goes with the question.
hence IMO -- D

Hi Phoenix , Shawshank,
unfortunately Kaplan does not explain anything about B , and just mentions D as the correct idiomatic expression.
btw, i didnt realise while choosing B that it kind of changes the meaning making it sound like 'Because' or 'Due to'.
cheers,
