If could try the second one .. pls confirm if its correct or not ..
as its an eqilateral triangle all the arcs will be same so there will be 4 arcs total.. if 3arcs = 24 perimeter is 32 = 2*Phi*r so r is approx 5.9 * 2 = 11 apprx is the diameter.

Oh yes, the answer is 11. Thank you.
Can anyone help with the Q no 1 pls?
lines are perpendicular so product of slopes = -1rabab wrote:sgarnepudi wrote:If could try the second one .. pls confirm if its correct or not ..

-1/sqrt(3) * t/s = -1
t = sqrt(3) * s
from OP
radius = 2
hence
s^2 + t^2 = 4
s^2 + 3s^2 = 4
s= + - 1
take +ve
Hope this helps...

question 1:
let PQ intersect y-axis at D , pyth. theorem on triangle POD gives radius=2
now cos POX' = (sq root 3)/2=cos 30
we get angle QOX=60 Degree
cos 60 = s/2=1/2
therefore, s=1
