This is a kind of practice question: This is easy for your GMAT prep on SC

Choose the sentence in which all modifiers are clearly and correctly positioned.

(A) Born during the winter, the car would not start for Sammy Davis, Jr.'s mother on the day that she gave birth.

(B) Embarking on his career in 1928 as a singer, Sammy Davis Jr.'s mother was thrilled when her son's career took off.

(C) Recorded by Sammy Davis, Jr., the songs quickly became number one hits.

(D) Appearing in Broadway shows and movies, a devout fan base loved Sammy Davis Jr.

(E) Playing the trumpet, drums, vibraphone, and piano, it was after Sammy Davis, Jr. served in the U.S. army that he became the central figure in the Mastin Trio.
