Kaplan 800 Related

Quick question -

I give my exam on June 28 and I have been taking Gprep practice tests. My Verbal is strong as I'm scoring 41 (scaled score) and higher each time. But, Math is my weakness and I'm scoring 34 to 38 (scaled score).

I have solved most of OG11, some of OG Quant, patches of Kaplan Math workbook, and am working on OG 10 now.

Do you think it would help me if I started reviewing Kaplan 800 now? I really need to score as close to 700 as possible, and I don't think I'll have a chance to re-take this test.

Thank you!

I think Kaplan is excellent for quant prep. I dont see any reason why you cannot study Kaplan. Since you are already done with OG you should be familiar with most topics tested, so it isnt like you will be learning something new. Kaplan has some good questions and it does help to practice those questions. So if you have enough time in the nest 10 days then I would definitely suggest you to start reviewing Kaplan 800.

thanks a bunch for the advice gabriel, i'll read Kaplan 800 a bit now.

i have an excel file that ranks all OG10 problems between Easy, Medium, Hard, and i have been mostly getting the Hard questions wrong in both PS and DS. somehow i felt that i saw only Medium and Hard Math questions in GPrep.

would taking a Manhattan CAT help a bit? Any more advice would be appreciated.

Manhattan CAT again wouldnt be a very good representative of the actual GMAT but I hear they do have good questions. So if for not anything else you can give it for practice. But you also shouldnt be overdoing things in the last few weeks as this could stress you out.
