You have (0.000064)^1/3
So you want to know which number you multiply three time itself gives 0.000064
0.000064=64/1000000=4*4*4/100*100*100
So (0.000064)^1/3=0.04
Now you have to find sqrt(4/100)=sqrt((2/10)^2)=2/10
So you want to know which number you multiply three time itself gives 0.000064
0.000064=64/1000000=4*4*4/100*100*100
So (0.000064)^1/3=0.04
Now you have to find sqrt(4/100)=sqrt((2/10)^2)=2/10

how you calculated (0.000064)^1/3?
could you please clarify as to a kindergardener? What is the tip? Thanx!

fraction in the exponent means you have to find the root of that number4meonly wrote: how you calculated (0.000064)^1/3?

(8)^1/3 = cube root (8) = 2
similarly,
(0.000064)^1/3 = cube root (0.000064) = 0.04
or you can also calculate it this way
cube root (64/1000000) = 4/100 = 0.04
(0.04)^1/2 = square root (0.04) = 0.2
or
sqrt (4/100) = 2/10 = 0.2
Hope this helps.
