This question can be answered correctly only if you post the statement I's missing value.stubbornp wrote:24. If the area of triangular region RST is 25, what is the perimeter of RST?

statement 1:
Length of one side is 5 sqrt(2)
No information about the other sides,,,
Insufficient
statement 2:
RST is a right isosceles triangle
so RS=ST
Area=0.5*RS*ST
25 =0.5*RS^2
50=RS^2
RS=5sqrt(2)
ST=5sqrt(2)
RT^2=ST^2+RS^2
RT^2=(5*sqrt(2))^2+(5*sqrt(2))^2
RT^2=100
RT=10
Perimeter=RS+ST+RT
=5sqrt(2)+5sqrt(2)+10
=10+10sqrt(2)
Hence statement 2 is alone sufficient and the ans should be B
What is the OA?
