IMO D since x, y >0 is given.
Its do or die this time!

Statement 1: xy > 1
If x=2 and y=1, the x/y = 2, which is greater than 1.
If x=1 and y=2, then x/y = 1/2, which is less than 1.
INSUFFICIENT.

Statement 2: x - y > 0
Thus, x>y.
Thus, x/y = (greater positive)/(smaller positive), which must yield a value greater than 1.
SUFFICIENT.

The correct answer is B.

Since x and y are positive, so we can say that the question is: Is x/y > 1 or Is x > y?

(1) xy > 1
If x = 4, y = 2, xy = 8 > 1. Here x/y = 4/2 = 2 > 1
If x = 2, y = 4, xy = 8 > 1. Here x/y = 2/4 = 1/2 < 1
No definite answer; NOT sufficient.

(2) x - y > 0 or x > y, which directly answers the question asked; SUFFICIENT.

The correct answer is B.
