A- friends (who were disinterested students) are now corporate figures, as well as friends from large cities having gone ARE NOT PARALLEL. Use of HAVING GONE is not appropriate. HAVING GONE is used when we talk about some other event as well.ritumaheshwari02 wrote:After returning from several years abroad, Martin has to face many changes: friends who were disinterested students are now corporate figures, as well as friends from large cities having gone on to start small communal farms in surrounding rural areas.
