If b Does not equal 1, what is the value of a in terms of b in (ab/a-b)=1

this means:

ab=a-b

or ab-a+b=0

a(b-1)+b=0

a(b-1)=-b

a=-b/b-1

a= b/1-b

This is why the stem says b is not equal to 1 because otherwise we will have

a=b/0 which is not defined.
