I am a person who ---------------------------------- , with expertise in ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Can anyone please advise what exactly is expected in such a case..

I mean 1) Interpersonal Skills/current position 2) future goals/ambitions..
3) or in general my complete background

Interesting question! I always like this sort of question because it provides a very nice opportunity to fill in a gap, provide some color, or make a point that you have not had the opportunity to make elsewhere.

Take the question seriously but don't take it too too literally.

So, my first thought is: what's missing in your application? Have you talked about your business experience a lot but not really mentioned your extra-curriculars? Have you come across as kind of an aggressive manager and want something to soften your image a bit?

Remember that a question like this is more of an opportunity to slightly adjust (or reinforce) a perception; if it contradicts something that you said or implied elsewhere in the application then it will raise a red flag.

Consistency of story-line is foundational for successful MBA applications.

Obviously, if you can provide more detail about your application and the Darden application I can give you more detailed and specific thoughts.

Thanks Paxton...
It is difficult for me to explain my application descriptively..

But I can give an overview-
I am a Business Analyst and in my other essays, I have discuused about my work, goals, nature of assignments, etc.. And I definitely don't want to write 100 words about my work here..

But what puzzles me in this question is the way the sentence is...
It seems like they are trying to know my current position and what I specialize in..

I would personally want to write a few characteristics of mine..
Intuitive thinker and strategy (I am good at chess)
I was a lot into sports when I was young (till 16 years old). I participated actively in college as well in sports but our team never won a trophy
I am open minded, risk taker, Introspective, confident

I am sure these qualities of mine are in sync with what I am written in the essays.. (I mean they better be!!)

If I write something about my work, it becomes boring and repetitive for me.. So I am sure it will bore others as well..

Based on the above information, can you please suggest or hint me on the approach I should use to answer/tackle this question..

Greetings.
