i was expecting above 550.

in my gmat test prep cat1 1 i scored: 620
gmat test prep cat 2 i scored :640

I used princeton review manual and OG

i really dont know what to do .. im currently in my third year (undergrad) and plan to give gmat Again next year in August.

im very weak in verbal . all the rc's i attempted were guesses.
please guide me the ways to improve myself so that i can score 600 +

People who score that low on verbal generally need to work on fundamentals before tackling GMAT problems. My advice to you is that you should spend the next few months reading lots of well written material so that you develop an "ear" for good grammar and the reading skills required on the CR and RC sections. Then, maybe in June, start studying for the GMAT again.

Happy reading!

The vocabulary on the GMAT isn't usually that difficult, other than the technical words in the science reading passages (which are hard even for native English speakers!). If you are comfortable reading everyday written material such as newspapers and magazines, you'll be okay.
