Hi,
I received a 760 (Q49 V44) on the CAT section, but got a 4.5 on the AWA. I am thinking of having it re-evaluated. Do you think I should have it re-evaluated or consider re-writing the GMAT because of this?
I am considering applying to top US schools.
Thank you for the help.
Regards,
Mike |

Hi Mike,
Thanks for your post - as I mentioned in another post, AdCom rarely looks at the AWA. Your essays are a better indicator of your writing skills. For most schools, AdCom will only look at your score to see if you hit a minimum score (I believe its around 3/3.5 for most top programs).
In other words the AWA has zero impact on your application.
Good luck!
