9) On the plane Flarp, 3 floops equal 5 fleeps, 4 fleeps equal 7 flaaps, and 2 flaaps equal 3 fliips. How many floops are equal to 35 fliips?

I did the longhand for practice, got a ~answer to the correct choice. However, the fundamental approach leaves me confused, showing a series of fractions converted to reach the answer...

Can someone explain this conversion sequence, in words?

Thanks!!!

Floops/Fliips = Floops/Fleeps * Fleeps/Flaaps * Flaaps/Fliips.
In equation above, all of the values in color cancel out.

Since Floop/Fleeps = 3/5, Fleeps/Flaaps = 4/7, and Flaaps/Fliips = 2/3, we get:

Floops/Fliips = 3/5 * 4/7 * 2/3 = 8/35.
Thus, 35 Fliips are equivalent to 8 Floops.
