Tatiana has had a couple different lives, all of them geeky. First, she went to UC Berkeley on a full-scholarship after scoring a 1500 on the SAT. She tutored SAT math in college, and earned degrees in Mathematics and Astrophysics.

After graduation, she worked at Microsoft for five years in various roles: Test Developer on the TabletPC team, College Recruiter, and Technical Evangelist for Windows Vista. While at Microsoft, she opened Trabant Coffee and Chai in Seattle's University District. She left Microsoft last year to pursue her MBA through Babson College's Fast Track Program, and to open Trabant's second location. These days, she geeks out on marketing, managing her staff of 15, and educating customers about the subtle nuances in specialty coffee. Did you know specialty coffee has over 800 flavor compounds, twice the number found in red wine?
